Devesys pioneered the field of case tracking software designed specifically for ethics and compliance starting in 1995. Since then, we have updated the software when newer technology has become available, we have added many new features, and we have refined the user interface. In 2007, Sprylogics International Corporation purchased assets from Devesys Inc. and incorporated a new entity named Devesys Technologies, Inc., using the same assets and employees. The innovative work in search engine technology at Sprylogics brought a valuable new tool to the Devesys solutions, and opened new doors for corporate compliance, security and risk management officers. We have now integrated their Cluuz search engine into TrakWeb as an optional feature. Soon, Cluuz also will be available as an option for TrakEnterprise. Extended Use Throughout the Enterprise

As other departments saw the success of our software in the ethics and compliance department, they asked if they could adapt it for their needs as well. In response, we have increased the flexibility of the software to accommodate users in multiple workgroups. Our customers can edit most of the drop down lists and field labels to meet these diverse needs. They can also change the lists and labels when laws and regulations change. They can prevent users in one workgroup from seeing cases in others. Cases that require the involvement of another department can be assigned to a user in another workgroup when necessary. Today, many of our customers have workgroups in departments such as Ethics and Business Conduct, Privacy, HR, Internal Audit, Legal, Security, Special Investigations, and EEO.

Inside the Firewall

All of this resides completely inside your firewall to protect your data. The system runs on hardware you own so that you have complete control over your data. Documenting the effectiveness of your compliance program depends on your ability to track historical data and trends, but many hosted services purge data periodically. Devesys products let you decide if and when to purge data, and always keep sensitive information protected inside your firewall.
